SDRAM Spot raises after DDR price keeping up?
Staidly firm DDR price and major DRAM makers' price strategy have supported SDRAM price won't go down. Channels and traders still have some inventory. Major DRAM makers keep pushing price to $2 and $4 for 128Mb and 256Mb respectively. We believe the price will still keep firm up a little bit before the Dec. 15th. After that, it's Christmas Holiday.
Motherboard companies predict "not-bad" 1st quarter orders forecast for next year.
Motherboard companies have received the forecast from OEM companies. The forecast numbers look not bad at all, sources said. Intel also has the optimistic P4 sales number (around 21 to 22 million unit shipment) for the first quarter next year. Seems the coming quarter is going to back to the spring indeed.
