Last week is a quiet week for DRAM market with little transaction. China and Europe buyers seem to hesitate about buying since they believe future demand is grim. Despite this weakness in demand, we even saw China player start to dump major DDR in the market. Both of these add up to a slow week. However, spot price kept stable or with a little drop.

eTT price went from USD3.71 to week low of USD3.65 then came back up to USD 3.7?towards the end of the week, thus not much change in eTT as well.

As for SDRAM, spot price for 4 x 16 seems to be in better shape than others. All in all, price stayed at USD 1.1 and above. However, spot price for 16Mb 1Mbx16 were not as lucky, price went lower than USD0.47.

Not much happened in NAND Flash spot market last week as well. Over all speaking, 2Gb was the only chip with slight increase of 2% due to limited supply. Other densities of 1Gb and above is in downward price trend with slight decrease. As for low densities such as 512Mb and below kept stable in spot price.

In all, last week was a slow week for DRAM, and NAND Flash. One of the reasons is gloomy future demand. Another reason is that most players are expecting to see replenishment in the spot market soon!
