1HOct. mainstream MLC NAND Flash contract average price rose 8% to 10%
1HOct. mainstream MLC NAND Flash contract average price rose about 8%to 10% since most NAND Flash vendors already receive the long-term orders for year end hot season from system customers and warming inventory replenishment demand for memory card. That is, tighter supply state will still continue due to the crowd-out effect in supplier’s shipment allocation.

Since most NAND Flash vendors still prioritize to supply electronics system customers for 4Q hot season orders and some demand of memory card makers can’t be fully satisfied. Therefore, NAND Flash upward pricing trend can be continued in the short term. We expect tighter supply circumstances may last into mid-November since inventory replenishment for year end hot season from some memory card and UFD makers is likely to continue.
