End of Month, Sell out the inventory.
As time approaching the month/quarter end, market do gradually absorb the excess inventory from DRAM makers. Module makers get into the market to negotiate price with DRAM makers. Indicating price is near the bottom though there is still room.
What is the floor of Price?
Most marketers still believe that $1.5 is the floor of 128Mb. The negotiating price between DRAM makers try to sell to Module makers by high volume is approaching that level. Assume the spot price will intend to come closely to that level as well.
June is probably the lowest point of Contract.
June's contract probably will reach $3 for some brand. After June, everyone is expecting the slow slope of the price rising up. The resuming orders from OEM are expected to get back from end of June or early July for preparing the traditional hot third quarter.
